What makes Peace Of Mind Estate Documents different?
Our founder brings more than 20 years of experience preparing, reviewing, and examining the types of documents we prepare today.
Who is behind Peace Of Mind Estate Documents?
Peace Of Mind Estate Documents was founded by Joel Hulett, a University of Tulsa law school graduate who practiced law for 22 years and now works in title and document analysis.
Are you a law firm?
No. Peace Of Mind Estate Documents is a document preparation service, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice or legal representation. If you need legal advice, an attorney can provide it.
What services do you provide?
We prepare simple will packages, trust packages, powers of attorney, affidavits, and business formation documents.
How much do services cost?
Starting prices for most services are listed on our Services page. Your final price reflects the requested documents and the complexity of preparation.
Do I need to prepare everything before contacting you?
Not at all. Call for a free phone conversation to learn how our document-preparation services work and review starting prices.
What happens after I contact you?
We discuss the information you would like to organize, explain our document-preparation services and pricing, prepare the requested documents, and provide clear next-step instructions for signing, notarizing, recording, and storing them.
How long does document preparation take?
Many document packages can be completed within a few business days once the needed information is available. Timing varies with the requested documents and preparation requirements.
Do you offer free educational materials?
Yes. Call for a free phone conversation to receive a guide about wills, trusts, and estate planning documents, along with a personal planning checklist.
How do I begin organizing my affairs?
Start with a simple inventory of the people, assets, accounts, documents, and wishes that matter to you. Our free planning checklist can help you begin.
Can you help with documents that need updating?
If you have identified documents you want to replace, we can prepare replacement documents from the information you provide. We do not advise whether an update is needed.
What is the difference between a will and a trust?
Wills and trusts are different types of documents. We provide general information about our document-preparation services. An attorney can advise you about their legal effect or whether either document is appropriate for you.
What is a Durable Power of Attorney?
A Durable Power of Attorney allows you to name someone to act on your behalf if you become unable to do so yourself. Financial and health care decisions are generally addressed through different documents. An attorney can advise about their legal effect.
What is an Affidavit of Heirship?
An Affidavit of Heirship documents family and heirship information following the death of a property owner. An attorney can advise whether it is appropriate for a particular real estate or mineral-rights matter.
Why do people need affidavits?
Affidavits can document facts, relationships, or ownership history when a written record is needed. An attorney can advise whether an affidavit is appropriate for a particular situation.
Do you serve clients outside of Tulsa?
Yes. While based in the Tulsa area, we assist clients throughout Oklahoma and across the country. Many document-preparation matters can be handled by phone, Zoom, and email.
